at sendit.com, the cheapest they are indeed:

blu offer rised from 188 to 229, hddvd from 112 to 150
this is first time that hddvd has relatively bigger growth and almost identical in absolute numbers, but i guess at the end of the year blu will go far far away...

and i just remeber the status at the beginnig of 2007, only about 50 titles both!... UK is closing to US Amazon offer very fast...

Here (in Austria) Toshiba ran out of those € 399,- players (which is good because they didn't have many of them in stock to begin with). The cheapest now are around 599,- and the cheapest Blu-ray players are 499,- (Sharp and Samsung {knowing both brands they'll be around 399,- or 449,- in december

}).
