Australia New Australian Blu-ray cases?

Anyone else getting these new Blu-ray cases that have more sharp corners and are more boxy then the normal ones?

I'm not liking these. Especially when my replacement copy of Valkyrie came back with this out of shrink wrap with no digital copy.

I guess on the plus side they are Australian. I also use their security game cases at work.

That's where I got my first one of these too with BTILC. Don't like them that much. The Mummy Trilogy has a 3 disc version of this case also. Anybody noticed the cheap cases for some of the older titles like Hellboy and Underworld? It doesn't have the recessed oval behind the Blu-ray logo and the logo is a screen printed gray rather than the silver.

Definitely prefer the Amaray cases but replacements cost $$$.

There is a third style case that has sharper corners than the Taken case but not as sharp as the one-time lockable case.

Yeah I'm not a fan of those new cheaper looking cases, I just swap them out for the original amaray style cases, same goes for the square edged cases.

Yep, it's a newer eco-type case made by Amaray. Fairly close in design to their red tag cases but it does have a squarer profile and the case is slightly less durable due to the thinner plastic used. Still, I'll take these over other average eco designs. This maintains the look more or less and does not sacrifice the idea of the case (to protect the disc inside) by having cutouts which damage artwork and compromise the integrity of the case design (US Viva cases - I'm looking at you!).

They came out about 3 months back. Some Warner back catalogues are using them and newer Universal releases had them around that time also (Blues Brothers, Big Lebowski etc).
