Kingpin - Blu-ray Forum

Looking at my Netflix queue, I have the Farrelly Brother's comedy Kingpin saved.
My queue is showing a release date of November 2009 after being Unknown for the past few months.
Anybody hear anything about this?
Bill Murray is great in this film.

I had to watch my old DVD of this just the other night and wondered the same thing....google says squat about "kingpin bluray".

It was supposed to be released last year, but was postponed. Maybe we'll get an announcement soon.

Looks like this has a release date on 11/17/2009.

man i love that movie!
especially at the end when all the amish people wave goodbye at woody and the girl and yell out "bye mr. munson! bye wh0re!"

I don't even know why it was postponed. I wish they would at least give us a reason why titles get delayed.

Kingpin is up there as one of my favorites. For me, a must-have title. If true, this is indeed good news!

i would love to get this on blu. i believe the DVD is out of print too.

does anyone have info about the blu ray release of this besides netflix? amazon is showing it as discontinued

Me too. I saw it in HD on cable a year or two ago. The PQ was excellent.

Love to see this as well, one of the alley's they bowl in was the one on McKnight Road in Pittsburgh (at least the outside shot). I hit a 7 - 10 split at that place

.

As far as the film goes I laugh everytime I watch it, that scene when Randy Quaid is flossing his teeth gets me everytime.
