Sony Pictures currently distributes MGM/UA and Columbia TriStar co-productions— including the recent Casino Royale—but outside of the co-productions MGM is now actively involved in acquiring worldwide film rights and distributing theatrical motion pictures in the United States. 20th Century Fox is handling the international theatrical distribution and worldwide home video distribution of MGM titles, excepting those which Sony Pictures acts as majority partner.
Established in 1924, MGM is tied for the fifth-oldest movie studio in history with Columbia Pictures. The studio's motto, "Ars Gratia Artis", is Latin meaning "Art for art's sake."

2006

On May 31, MGM announced that it would transfer home video output (MGM Home Entertainment) from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment (excepting those MGM or UA and Columbia or TriStar co-productions, such as the 2006 remake of Casino Royale, where Columbia is a majority partner).[5][6][/QUOTE]

Plus most of my MGM titles also have Fox logos on them.

I (and anyone else) can get nearly any Fox catalog title for 15$ within two weeks of release if not during the week of release.

I seriously wish that people would stop with the price bit.

Yes I know about E-bay, but I don't think that catalog titles should cost $28 on release day.

I wouldn't generalize that much. That definitely isn't the case most of the time. Tell me where we all go to get Fox BDs for $15 after 2 weeks?

Mrs. Doubtfire, Master and Commander, and Ice Age have been at least $28 since they've been out as far as I know. If some do go on sale, they get to $19.99, but it's not like that happens every other week.

Most of the time, these catalog titles are $28.

One of my favorite Farrelly Brothers film. For some reason I never got around to buying it on DVD, so this Blu-ray will be a very welcomed addition to my collection.

Definite purchase for me. Some great performances by the Farrelly brothers repertory company in this one.

I'm all over it. For some reason I never got Kingpin on DVD. I actually have two VHS copies though, one theatrical and one extended. I love Kingpin.
