Chaos from Lionsgate? WTF? - Blu-ray Forum

I saw the commercial for the DVD last night.

Jason Statham, Wesley Snipes and Ryan Phillipe.

I never saw/heard about this in theaters don't know why they didn't throw it on Blu, it should sell with Jason statham alone.

This movie was under the radar because Ryan negated Jason's awesomeness...

Why worry about one movie? There are a lot of great Lionsgate titles (both new and old) that aren't out on Blu-ray, yet. I say it's only a matter of time before they're all released on our beloved Blu. Just be patient.

I'm not worried. I was just surprised how this movie was under the radar(at least to me.) when it had 3 actors who are usually in big time movies (well except Wesley Snipes of late)

it also surprised me that it was straight to DVD. I would have picked this up right away! I've been in the mode for some Statham style action. Guess WAR will have to do!

Then you guys must not have walked into a Blockbuster as of late. I don't go there often since I canceled my membership with them a few months ago, but when I WAS regularly going, I noticed a lot of direct to video movies that had huge actors in them. That seems to be the norm nowadays. I think there are a lot more of these direct to video flicks than there are theater released ones.

I have this movie on order. Read posts on imdb and it sounds interesting. I enjoyed Inside Man which is similar to Chaos.

Anyone else notice that the date at the imdb said 2005... then a release date of April 2007. I, for one, had never even heard of the movie until just now. According to Amazon the DVD release date is February 19th but I didn't see any listing for Blu-ray. Has anyone see it on Blu or is it DVD only?

DVD only. I think there were some distribution problems with the film and so it took a while for it to be released.
