Only two things come to mind at the moment:

general promotion of the PS3 this fall (given the number of references to other games in this teaser)
a yet-to-be-announced game scheduled for release in 2012

There was a slight fade to something else at the very end of the video, but the video ends before you can get a good look. It would appear that there is a man, but it is hard to tell who it is.

I've read one theory about the new home, which apparently will have a fps MP game in it. That would be a big disappointment to me.

If anything, I would just say it's a start of a new promo approach.

The only possible thing that indicates something new or secret is that gif. Because you can see the Twisted Clown Car at :23 seconds and a LBP bubble at :36s. Of course all shooter are rep'd by the guns. Someone also said the yellow eyes in the background at the beginning are Chimera. Leads me to believe a new promo strategy, but I'd love to see something new.

Imo it's going to be more than just releasing a new promo campaign.

A promo campaign launched to hype ... a promo campaign?
We all love KB, but Sony would get laughed off the planet because of tghe arrogance, and after the errors of 2006/7 they know better imo.

Between the initial trailer and the KB one, it feels more substantial imo.

original trailer: a bunch of WWII soldiers arrive to a secret hidden location, and get in a giant theatre where obviously a ton of other gaming archetypes are (hinted at by the ton of weapons, both modern, sci fi and medieval, that have been left at the coat hangers).
Feels like both a ton of games, and a ton of online possibilities.

With KB, we have him hinting at a long overdue project of his, something that he says "I'm not coming back to the gaming industry to sell some watered down get grandma off the couch weaksauce. We're taking that sweet playstation gaming juice you've always loved, throwing it into an industrial sized 3D HD access to online gaming for free centrifuge and unleashing it into a 5 ounces form that could kill a centaur. "

5 onces?

=PS Vita official US launch date?

Other possibility: New XMB interface and online functionalities, preparing for the launch of Vita, so kinda a combined effect PS3/ Vita.

First, that KB video was out a month ago. The correlation may be small.

To the quote above, it's not the first time anyone has had a promo for a promo or something of the like. BF3 and Black Ops last year both had a promo for an upcoming promo campaign. It really just gets the hardcore fans spreading e-word of mouth about it and building buzz. And if that's the case, it's working.

At first I had thought it was a teaser to Sony's new ad campaign but now I'm thinking it's just for the Home relaunch, which is disappointing.
