TORONTO (Hollywood Reporter) - Rachel Weisz is starring opposite Daniel Craig and Naomi Watts in the Jim Sheridan-directed thriller "Dream House."

Weisz plays the wife of a New York publishing executive (Craig), who relocates his family to a quaint New England town, only to discover that their perfect home was the scene of a murder involving a woman and her two children.

With production on the Morgan Creek Prods. project under way in Toronto, Universal is set to distribute the film in North America.

Dream House Loses MPAA Appeal; Still Hopes R Will Become PG-13

And the MPAA comes out on top once again as Morgan Creek Productions' appeal of the ratings board's R rating for Dream House was denied by the MPAA Appeals Board, who decided that the movie merited the rating because of "some violence."

Per The Wrap Morgan Creek isn't let the matter rest, however. Greg Mielcarz, Morgan Creek's executive VP of marketing, said that he still believes the film will ultimately receive a PG-13 rating.

"They gave us a list of several things in the movie that they thought should be cut," he said. "We're going to ... work with them together to ensure that we receive a PG-13."

One way or the other, look for the flick to hit theatres on September 30th, 2011.

The project, picked up as a spec by David Loucka and directed by Jim Sheridan, follows a family that relocates into what appears to be the ideal residence in small town Connecticut.

That really sucks that they really want that PG-13 rating and hopefully they don't cut anything to get that rating. Hope if they do we get an unrated/uncut Blu release.

Great cast, but haven't we already seen this a few times? Hopefully they can bring something new to the story, but given the writer, seems unlikely.

I usually don't like it when studios neuter films for the sake of a rating. However, this film is rated R for "some violence". I will save my criticism for when(if) I see this, but some violence(like nudity) is sensational just for the sake of being sensational and adds nothing to the story. If some gratuitous violence is cut, I probably won't be too upset.

Yeah this doesn't seem that bad. I just don't like how they may take out the little violence they do have to make it a PG-13 film. I think what violence they do have does add to the story though as I'm suspecting the violence will be during the last part of the movie and most likely when we see the original crime being committed in the opening or flashback scene.

Whoever edited that trailer together needs to find a new job. Nothing like having the film's big twist ruined in the trailer.

That's why I only watch a little bit of a trailer. Hate when they ruin the big things in them.

Still, most trailers don't spoil a major twist if that is an integral part of a movie. I won't watch the trailer now that I know that.

Ye gods, don't watch that trailer if you want any hope of going into this film fresh. I can't imagine there's much more to the plot that isn't summed up and revealed in that couple of minutes!

I'm late to the party as well...but, wow, easily the WORST trailer I've ever seen as far as revealing things.

It's not a twist we haven't seen something similar to before...but it still would have been nice to at least say, "I saw it coming a mile away" instead of them showing it to us right away
