Is that Universal logo/banner on the cover art really necessary? Why not just a sticker that can be removed with the shrink wrap?

I thought it said 10th Anniversary at first. Them I thought wait didn't this movie come out in 2005? lol.

Well, I guess next year actually is the 100th anniversary. I went and looked it up to be certain (April 1912 was when it started).

In addition to just finding the packaging terrible, I was thrown off at first by the timing of this because it was in 1990 (22 years ago come 2012) that they first used that 75th Anniversary Universal logo in front of some of their movies starting with Back to the Future Part III. I thought that maybe they were jumping the gun on the 100th anniversary celebration, but aparently they were just late back then on celebrating the 75th anniversary.

Just watched this for the first time on Blu-ray a couple nights ago, it's seriously in need of a remaster, not just a repackaging. Pretty lazy there.

These threads are pointless. They are all the same disc (same PQ/AQ) only that Universal is celebrating their 100th year and only the repackaging is different. Nothing new in terms of tech specs/special features.

This is such a great movie so if it's just a repackage dealio then I'm bummed out. I agree with others who say it's one of the worst looking blu's and in desperate need of a remastering.

This was kind of a pivotal comedy for them. But it's not the only title, there's about 20 of them I've seen so far, I think.
