What do you all think? Is it a good receiver?

This monster came up in another thread discussion without a link, so I decided to bring it to the forefront with its own place to be worshipped, admired, and praised.

Wonder if this has a Wi-Fi capability.

Jiminy Christmas! That thing's a monster! That's a serious receiver on steroids. Stereo subwoofers, 11 speakers, 140 watts per channel. You could open your own movie theater with that thing!

Price is right...only $5500.

Too bad I'm not avaiable Oct 6th for the event. Its only 3hrs away, worth the drive too.

Pioneer Elite has a model similar but even more of a beast coming out for $7k, I would much rather have that than a yamaha. However, at that price I would probably go with a separates system of Anthem. I am not a Yamaha fan though.

Major Over Kill 11.2 Channels and $5500.00. Top-Notch 5.1 system is all you need.

I live in a 7.1ch world these days. It is 2007 and theres many movies with more than just 5.1ch utilized.

All I can say is "WOW"... and I AM a Yamaha fan... they make great receivers.
