Yeah, I had a list of about 7 I was either wanting as gifts or that I had only seen once, but thought it would be worth it to buy so I picked them up on September 18 at the Buyathon. There are no more titles I want from paramount that have been released (There are titles they are not releasing like Blades of Glory, Transformers, and Next that I would like on BD). I will now focus my attention on Warner (Cough, October 17th, Cough) as they can in my opinion end the format war by going BD exclusive.

there was a guy that posted on here after the paramount fiasco, that said he bought every paramount title on blu, and it was like 800 or something, way to support their decision by lining their pockets right

I got the first Mission Impossible (in my opinion the only good one) right before the Paramount announcement.

After the announcement I quickly picked up Sleepy Hollow (which I wasn't that impressed with) and The Untouchables (which is awesome, PQ on that movie is great in my opinion)

I guess I just don't care about actors’ personal lives, I just watch movies for the movies.

As far as the OP goes, I already have Mission Impossible set & The Italian Job. I'm not sure about Shooter, it's a good movies, but it's not worth $27.

I also have Aeon Flux, Failure to Launch, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Payback: Straight Up, We Were Soldiers & Sahara.

I had 80% of Paramount/DreamWorks' current high definition output, on Blu-rays, before the "shift"

I bought we were soldiers/Mi3 I felt like shit so I returned them unopened. I put me foot down paramount/dreamworks/universal will not get a dime of my money as long as they are hddvd only. I won't even go to the theatres to see their films. Funny I used to go to the movies every sunday now I havn't gone in two months. The paramount thing really made me wake up and see the studios as money machines they really don't care about the fans well paramount/dreamworks anyway.

Just buy them used. They're not getting any more money that way, and you're not moving the numbers at all

I won't be seeing Paramount movies at all in theatres either at this point. I hope this article about it is prophetic:

Why not buy Paramount on Blu??? IF they see sells on blu are still going on they'll know that they made a mistake...

When HDud fails, and the few movies they have are selling good on Blu.

I was just checking out http://www.blu-raystats.com/ and i looks like with only 9% of BD sales and about 10% of HD DVD sales, Paramount is a small player in both camp (based on amazon sales, I guess).

Could be worse, he could be Catholic ...

Anyway, who knows who built your BD-player?

I didn't like the MI movies, but not because of Cruise's belief ...
