Default Looking for information on Blu-ray Authentification.

I'm not sure if this is how it is "Termed", but I read an article a few months ago about how the Ethernet port on Blu Ray players can be used by various companies to check if Pirated BR-DVD's are being used or not.

It was something along those lines. All I can really remember is that it said something about an ethernet cable being connected to the Blu Ray player and something about the future of piracy.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate it.

No, we can't, because there's no such thing. The article you read was wrong/misinformed.
