Real game of the year!

Now the only next gen console i have is my PS3(60 gig ), but i've been a little upset with most website 2007 game awards. most of them have bioshock as game of the year(i think call of duty is better ) and most of them don't even have uncharted as a nomonee for action/adventure. I just want some intake on what you guys rate the PS3 games for 2007 and what you think the real game of year was.

its one of the best multiplayer games ever
tons of new dlc so it never gets old
decent single player story
if you are good you have the ablility to drum/guitar and sing, so you can do multiplayer by yourslef
online is good
good customization of characthers/instruments

I have not played Warhawk and do not plan to (personal preference, mostly due to lack of single player...and out of fear that I'll suck), but I do realize the game is amazing for those who do have it.

Personally for me, Uncharted.

I see why a lot give it to CoD4, because it is indeed amazing. I just prefer Uncharted.

i haven't attempted warhawk either, but it should have been a nomonee for multi-player which it wasn't. instead they had Halo aka FPS #768,923.

No single player in Warhawk??? Man, I'm glad I never bought that bee-atch. I love single player. I can take my time, get into the plat better... Man, all the on-line seems to be is everyone frantically running around shooting each other. I just get no thrill from that... but that's just me.

yeah yeah i know it was technically released in 2006 for 360 and PC (I got hammered last time I mentioned it as game of year for '07), but was released '07 for PS3 and thats all i care about

Ninja Gaiden Sigma was my fav PS3 game for 2007, and probably one of my all time favorite games. Also, apart from wanting to go Blu, Sigma was the icing on the cake why I picked up a PS3 last July.

But, I'm a PC gamer first. I prefer strategy and FPS on PC, but I wasn't all that impressed with a lot of the FPS games that released last year. Bioshock was just so-so (I played through the 360 and PC versions), and Crysis was Far Cry PC with a super suit. GOTY for me is Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.

number 1 - uncharted drakes fortune

I disagree with warhawk. I have played the game and was totally turned off. Its very run and gun , rocket launchers and what not. It's over the top imo. I got 0% enjoyment from the game.
I did however like the headset that was included.
I'm think maybe if you have a short attention span maybe you'll like warhawk.

I've played many hours of uncharted , many times haveing to force myself to quit so I can sleep

Best game of the year is HALO 3. It's not even close. I have a PS3 for bluray, but an xbox 360 for games. Warhawk was pretty good, uncharted was ok too, but for my money halo 3.

this thread is purely opinion, but Halo 3? Are you serious?
multi-player i'll give it that, but game of the year? I have yet to be swayed.

I'm surprised that even a 360 gamer would say that. My two buddies who game on the 360 both were super excited about this game and after they beat campaign mode said they'd probably never play it again. They said Gears of War, Bioshock, and some other game were way better.

COD 4
Bioshock
Mass Effect are all better games. Halo 3 doesn't even get the bronze for the 360 alone, much less GOTY.
