Default Now that we have a 20gb and 80gb PS3, Got a question.

I want to move all my account info from our old 20GB to the 80GB along with all of the saved games etc.

What is the easiest way to do it?

The 20GB will be used exclusivly in the theater as a player from here on out.

Thanks!

Use a usb thumb drive and save all you data to it, then download them to your new PS3.

I forgot to mention for your PSN account you will just set it up on the new one. The saved game data can be transfered to a thumb drive.

Thanks,
This is what I was planning to do. Do I have create all of the sub-accounts and their logins on the new system or do they come across with the main account?

I just got the 80gb out of the box and setup my one account. I am going to hook up an external USB drive to the old 20gb and move all of the saved games over that way. Also appears that I can only move one saved game over at a time? NO way to do a batch backup it appears..

i just transfered my save games from my 60-80. Didn't really look for a batch back up option but each game take 4 seconds to transfer to the flash drive. incredibly easy, didnt expect it to be that simple

I just formatted an external 40gb drive (usb) as NTFS. Where will I see this device when I go to copy the saved games? Cause I don't see it.

Nevermind, looks like the PS3 does not support NTFS. I will have to format this on an old win98 machine.
