Default Transformers HD DVD Delayed?

http://www.highdefforum.com/showthread.php?p=386476 - has anyone else heard that production problems will delay the hddvd release of TRANSFORMERS. i am starting to see this rumor appear in numerous forums. i am also hearing that best buys are receiving their dvds but not their hddvds. if this is true, oh what a month they are having.

...and if it's true, great news, because the weeks after Oct.16th have a much larger selection of strong titles for Blu-ray.

Sonny,

I care. Blu Ray has sold more software for nearly a full year. I want to see them get that full year dominance and then use that to shed light on the sorry state of HD DVD. Transformers could possibly result in lots of HD DUD's being sold on one day and it's the only last remaining shred of hope for the ailing HD DUD format.

So,.. I want to see it shatter-ed. I'm putting my money down on the 16th to try and make it so. (As a plus I get to do my favorite activity at the same time,.. buying Blu Rays.)

HD DUD needs to get the hint and the sooner the better.

You know what I actually want them to release on that day so I can buy a ton of Blu-Rays on the 16th. Since the HD-DUD guys are also having a buy-a-thon on the 16th we have to put some pressure on those guys big time. So, not only will they get transformers but also other HD-DUD discs to go with their crappy players.

I would very much enjoy this if it were true, I will not even think of looking at Transformers before it is Blu, it will be worth the wait, it was meant to be Blu from the very start. Can't wait to watch HD-Dud fall, and Thanks to Sony and the new 40 gig comming out will help kick em while there down.

That SUCKS!

For them!

Fingers crossed. Hopefully what they do have will be sent out slowly so it will not dominate any week. I was going to say that this smells like a troll, but this wasn't started here. SO......

IMO, it shouldn't be delayed. The faster we can pass this torture (HD DVD winning that week), the better.

Oh, if the delay is more than a year, then I'll support it. lol

Cool FUD-Formers

FUD-Formers

Sam Witwicky: Why can't Bumble FUD talk?

Optimus FUD: Not enough room on HD DVD for a voice track. But I'm working on it. Have I told you about the new triple layer 51GB format?

SAM: Many times. You keep promising but don't deliver.

Optimus FUD: FUD-Bots, transform and hide! Qwii, quaa, quoo, quuu.

Sings, "FUD-formers... less than meets the eye...... FUD-formers, Toshiba in disguise."

Whether it's delayed or not they are facing an uphill battle and will have only one week to claim victory. After 10/30/2007 when Spiderman releases, it's hit after exclusive hit and they will be down for the count.
