PS3 Exclusive Titles

i'm not a 'gamer' by any means. i'm out of touch with that whole industry save for my supervisor at work who's a PS3 owner & a PC gamer. i get all the latest news from him. me - i just play sports games and warhawk. as a PS3 owner (99% because of Blu-Ray Movie playback) i'd like to sit in on gamers' analysis of the PS3 game library. are there exclusive titles coming to PS3 that will draw people to it? are there great (not just good) PS3 games on the way? (i keep hearing how the game library for the PS3 leaves much to be desired). is it really the console of the future for video gaming and NOT just because of its BD movie playback capability?

The ones in particular that I can't wait for are Gran Turismo 5 and Final Fantasy A Gran Turismo 5 prologue is rumored to be coming out soon, but would only be part of the entire game. Something like 50 cars, and 5 tracks, and it should also be either free, or under half the cost of the full game.

IMO, this is a game that shouldnt be missing in your collection.

It also will have online play, but it is not included when you buy MGS4. MGS4 will only have a 'starter pack' of Metal Gear Online.

'Unreal Tournament III' is not exclusive... but is going to kick ass!!!

I got to experience first hand the following titles on Wednesday at a Playstation Holiday Preview Event in Toronto (exclusives noted with *):

*Devil May Cry 4
*Haze
*Ratchet & Clank
Guitar Hero III
Call Of Duty 4

and my personal favourites, in order of preferance...
#3 - DARK SECTOR
#2 - *UNCHARTED: DRAKE'S FORTUNE
#1 - ROCK BAND

My personal recommendation is as follows. For those who tried the 'Guitar Hero' franchise and didn't like it, give 'Rock Band' a try with 3 friends. For those who haven't tried any of this genre, you will want to get 3 friends together and give 'er a go. This game is going to be a party favourite. Get 'influenced' with a bunch of friends and the game isn't the only thing that will rock... you will too!

Disgaea 3 is for PS3 and it is exclusive last I checked. 'Course, it would bomb on 360 anyway.
