PS3, DolbyTrueHD - Blu-ray Forum

Is the ps3 able to do DolbyTrueHD out of the box or do you have to download an update. If you do have to download an update, where do I do that? Thanks for any help.

Out of the box. But you need to plug it to a HDMI receiver with audio and video inputs to get the most benefit of that.

Set audio to HDMI, then LPCM.
