Default What really sucked about DVD, and hopefully will not with Blu-ray...

You know what I hated the most about DVD?

It isn't even the region zoning or the forced ads...

It's how there was different content in different countries...

You have ONE film... released in Malaysia, Europe, America.

The Malaysian one has audio and subtitles in languages of that region,
Europe has the European languages plus Hebrew and Arabic, and America has English plus french and spanish.

Even with DVD technology you could have had all those languages on ONE DISC! With one Ultimate release! But No, they have to make all these localised ones.

Why not just make one Super Awesome Final Disc.

When it loads you are presented with the question, which Language do you want the menu in.

Then you can pick and choose.

For all those who are interested in Languages, learning or just trying to keep their current level alive... This would rule.

It really pivs me off.

IF, they can release DVDs in different regions with different language options.

Then they have the ability to record all those audio subs and subtitles and just place them all on ONE Disc.

I really do hope that BLU-RAY will be like this...

But I think the world sucks too much for them to be that intelligent to make them.

But I would really love them to prove me wrong.
