Default Long Overdue/Highly Anticipated Catalog Releases

Hey Guys,

I’m a longtime member and collector, but for whatever reason I stopped following and picking up releases the last couple years. Looking to get back into it now.

I’ve always been big into picking up catalog releases of my favorite films and ones I’ve never seen, but always wanted to.

My question is, What are some of the catalog titles that were highly anticipated/long overdue that released in the US in 2016 and 2017?

For example, a few that I just checked on and know haven’t released yet that I’m patiently waiting for are The Abyss, True Lies, and Bronx Tale.

The Philadelphia Story was released near the end of 2017 by Criterion. I had been waiting a long time for it and it was worth it.

The obvious one for me is the fantastic restoration of One-Eyed Jacks, a release I never thought I'd see. And if you're into iconic sixties movies, Blow-Up, both from Criterion...plus a number of classics from WAC, She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, Bad Day At Black Rock ect.

It doesn’t seem like there has been many titles that have released from the era I’m most interested in (80s, 90s, 00s).

I appreciate those that posted the much earlier stuff, but those are all way before my time.

Well, in two weeks (Feb. 13) Criterion comes out with a newly restored edition of The Silence of the Lambs which Dr. Svet gave 5s to across the board; PQ, AQ, and Extras -- all 5s.

It looks to me like any fan of this classic thriller NEEDS to pick this up.
