Egads! Hoping those are not the titles on this upcoming disc as H-Man and Battle in Outer Space were the only good titles (which were already released)!

Fair enough, but I'd still get it, despite Warner Archive already having released The Night The World Exploded! on DVD and Anolis having put The 27th Day on BD. Trashtalgia!

I wonder who has the rights to this? Hopefully it is NOT Mill Creek.

Latitude Zero doesn't have a BD in Japan yet. That one kind of worries me since it's one of the films where the international version is longer than the Japanese version. If Toho only releases the Japanese version to Blu then they might not include the longer cut in future licenses. Hopefully they would handle it like they did for Frankenstein vs Barugon and include both cuts in HD.

It should include FOUR movies, as it is called "Sci-Fi from the Vault 4-film Collection". Dying to know what the titles actually are!

The Amazon listing says 2 disks. Besides, I’m not aware of mill creek ever doing 4 movies per blu ray.

Inner Sanctum did 3. That hammer set did 2 films per disk. Same for the Rita Hayworth set.

As long as Sony provides decent masters, I’m sure these will look ok.

The Noir Archive sets also had 3 movies per disc and looked fine.

4 movies per disc would be like something Echo Bridge would do.

maybe but the run time on that is 468 min for all 6 titles. the little info available on this release says run time is 503 min.

OOPS read it wrong only 303 min so good chance it will be these titles. that would be find with me.

Think they only did that for the Showa Gamera Blu-Rays from 2011...

It depends on the running time. Three short features, like Inner Sanctum fit no problem. Three two hour movies wouldn't.

I second that choice! The spaghetti version of "Star Wars" (more like "Star Crash")! Complete with a Darth Vader styled villain in Dark Helmet garb and a robotic dog (R2D2) sidekick named Kip for Richard Kiel's heroic lead character to play off of! Barbara Bach is monotone as Evil Empress Lady Agatha, who was laughable too! Having never seen a decent transfer better than a low-rez VHS, I would snap that up instantly!

I found the cover art! Unforunately most of these have been released already, either from MC, or another label. The only new to BD title is The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock (1959).

  • 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957)
  • The 30 Foot Bride of Candy Rock (1959)
  • Creature with the Atomic Brain (1955)
  • It Came from Beneath the Sea (1955)

Here's the Thrillers from the Vault set.
