I was thinking of importing this one since Best Buy only had the 2D steelbook. Does anyone know if this works in the US? It looks just like the Best Buy release except it has the movie in 3D and I wanted to see it in 3D.

Oh, I agree with you 100%, but I thought about it, and since I open my steelbooks. (I know alot of collectors don't, but if I'm spending that kind of money on the steel I figure I'm going to enjoy the movie in it) I figured why waste the space having both the regular plastic case and the steelbook on my shelf.

Yes, I open mine too, but it doesn't change the fact that it's still cheaper to buy it locally than import it.
You can always just throw away the 3D Amaray case and the 2D discs from the SteelBook and pretend you got it from Asia and then use the money you saved to go buy some lunch or something. |
