Fry's DHL delivery came today

I ordered 9 Blus on Outpost.com thanks to the great sale going on. This is the first time I have ever had something shipped with DHL.

These photos are a bit dark but well, what do you think happened? (Oh and yes that is a 9 inch by 4 inch tear in the side! )

They took a ton of tape and closed it back up. There seems to be something inside but I am not going to cut through it to look until I talk with someone at Fry's. On hold....(man their wait music is bad...flamenco guitars?)

Well I was able to get through after 5 minutes. They told me to open it up. They all seem to have made it through unscathed.

The woman who helped me mentioned that there were a lot of people taking advantage of the sale....but then she called them "DVDs" so who knows.

Time to go add them to my DVDspot collection.

Looks like maybe a DUD fan that works at the shipping company.

There's no shipping label on the outside but the box has FRY'S in red lettering. I wonder if someone wanted to see if it was worth taking. (Not saying much for Blu, but if someone did it on purpose they were an idiot.)

boxes getting beat to crap is pretty common in shipping. I order stuff a lot from the USA and even had a box come nearly completely open with only 1/3 of my order inside it (even though the packing slip showed all items correctly). This was resolved by a quick email, but it's pretty commonplace in my experience.

That is crazy. I have never had much luck with DHL, but I have never received a package that looked like that. Good to know that your BDs were fine.
