Default My Wal*Mart has an HD movie section!!!

it's not much, but it's a damn start. kinda like the the end cap they have for new releases. but get this there's like 7 columns of movies (probably 10 rows per column....maybe, can't remember exactly), but 5 of the 7 are blu-ray, and the other two are hd-ded. I wanted to scream "YEAH!!! HA ! HA!! SEE!!! HA!!" but i didn't. i contained myself, and proceeded to purchase 3 movies (which are going for 24.99 there, great prices as compared to CC or BB, and no waiting for shipment from amazon.)

picked up :

POTC *black pearl*
300
planet earth

i totally wasn't even thinking about buying movies, cause last i checked they didn't even have they're own display, but i noticed that they weren't even slipping a couple blu-rays with the new dvd releases, so I started to look, and stumbled upon that most wonderful shrine.

my g/f's gonna be pissed at me for spending 110 bucks on movies, but as long as the bills are paid, and i keep cooking dinner, she doesn't complain but for 2.5 seconds.

Yeah I saw this at the one I work at too. They finally got it right by putting them at the end. With my discount I will most likely be getting Planet Earth. We have a total of 6, 4 for Blu and 2 for hd dvd. I noticed Tuesday morning that all our copies of Transformers on hd dvd were sold out. But we probably only got about 4 in like we normally do. We had a ton of FF:ROSS and they were gone in a few days.

Too bad Wal-mart doesn't report the sales numbers for Blu-ray to Nielsen.
