Default Wal-mart Expanded Blu-ray Section

Im glad to say that my local walmart here in PA expanded thier blu-ray selection. They added 3 sections to thier decent one section. I took a pic on my phone but i gotta figure out how to get it on here. noticed they had all the paramount movies on the list and the guy unloading the movies tonight said they will all be out by tommorow and stocked up. i noticed shooter was on the list as well as national treasure 2 pack, didnt see a spot for v for vendetta but did see face off spot. hope they get bee movie, v, and national treasure 2 pack.

did any one else notice thier walmarts expanding thier bd selection?
lol believe it or not but now my local walmart has more bd's then my local Circuit-shitty and about that same as the local target.

Our Walmart just put all DVD's behind glass cases. Is this the norm for them now?? Can't imagine they wouldn't lose money this way from people not being able to just pick a movie up without a sales drone to unlock the case and get it. Half the time you can't even fnd someone in any area there.

What are the reasons behind this decision. Have they done same for CDs. This is strange.

Both of the Wal-Mart stores in my area have a pathetic BD section. Probably 15 or so titles to choose from.

I asked the lady in the electronics department if they were expanding their BD section. She said they are re-doing their setup Monday night, but didn't know about the BD set expanding. I did notice in their glass case today that they received several catalog titles, but they're all at the bottom shoved in the back row. I hope that means expansion.

there always getting more in, but they put them all in there friggin smallest glass case they could find so you can really only see about half the titles they have.

What the hell? I'm in Phoenix, where there's like 4 million people, and I haven't seen a single Blu-ray disc in a Wal-mart (they're still selling HD-DVD, though... those useless coasters seem to be available everywhere). In fact, the only place where I've seen anything more than a four-foot display is at Best Buy and Fry's (and the BB prices are absurd, while Fry's only has like a hundred copies of the same two movies). I've wasted many Saturdays trying to find Blu-rays, and this is a big city. For crying out loud, it's been two years, and I still have to order online and wait a week to get Blu-rays. Two years into DVD, they were selling them in the grocery stores.
