The remote does look nice. Just wish they had kept the front all blue and black - without that little splash of red.

I'm assuming its IR. Any word on a IR/Bluetooth hybrid universal remote?

I think that is the only thing I am truly anticipating for my PS3...everything else has been fulfilled.

it makes me sad to think that you can pimp your ps3, i wouldnt mind if there were oh i dont know 4 or 5 killer games out for the system insted of 40 or 50 crappy ports. ugh sorry i'm just so frustrated w/ the ps3 as a gaming system right now...i think some of the stuff is cool but i'd be happier w/ better games besides my out of the box ps3 is already sleek and sexy

actually, if you think about it, probably all consoles suck when they first come out. i mean it's not like the xbox360 was any good until maybe a few months to a year later right?

Xbox 360 had a whole lot of nothing until Gears of War was released, so.. yes.

The games will come. This is the same thing people said about the PS2. It's too hard to program for, it doesn't have a "killer app." Now what do they say???

I know it's hard to be patient when you have spent the money we have but keep the faith brother, it will be worth the wait I'll wager.

No word, yet. But, you can just use your universal remote to learn the functions of that IR remote. Then, you could just use your universal remote with their IR basestation/sensor.

oh i know i already consider it worth the money as a blu-ray player alone! everytime i pop in a new blu i get a huge grin on my face b/c i love it so much. and dont get me wrong i enjoy playing a few of the games i got...i think more then anything i can't wait for the games i've heard about since it was announced that have been pushed back...the final fantasy,metal gear, killzones of the world...and i have no doubt in the end the'll be tons of great games, just tired of waiting i guess.

i think sony should kill xbox w/ a god of war trilogy pack, remaster 1 & 2 w/ next gen graphics and such and put that on a bd50 and then release it combo w/ god of war 3 for like 80 bucks...and make god of war 3 epic! that would sell a plenty of systems.

This remote looks bad ass and I really want a remote with backlit buttons like this one has. (it's really annoying that the Sony one doesn't have this) I don't like that it's not Bluetooth though... anyone know of one that has backlit buttons and is bluetooth?
