Bjorn’s Opens Sony Shop

San Antonio, Texas – Bjorn’s Audio Video is the latest retailer to open a dedicated Sony shop, following recent installations at Nebraska Furniture Mart, Sixth Avenue Electronics and Toys “R” Us’s flagship Manhattan store.


Bjorn’s in-store Sony shop is 950 square feet and spotlights such Sony fare as BRAVIA TVs and front projectors, Cyber-shot digital cameras, Handycam camcorders, VAIO notebooks, DVD and Blu-ray disc players, Walkman MP3 players, audio components and PlayStation 3 consoles.


Like its forerunners, the Bjorn’s installation features interactive stations that allow customers to test-drive the products, plus specially-trained employees to man it.


“Sony has led the way in consumer electronics with their technology and innovative products for many years,” said principal Bjorn Dybdahl. “Over those years Sony and Bjorn’s have partnered to introduce new technologies such as the CD, DVD and Blu-ray disc. Once again our customers will benefit from this joint relationship with the new Sony shop within Bjorn’s by offering a wider selection of Sony products in an ideal environment.”

NFM just recently remodled and had a grand opening. I didn't realize,they have a Sony store, but they were advertising a Sony Blu-ray player on their commercials. I will have to go and check it out.
