Mods, I think adopting a policy to disallow the posting of live eBay auction links should be put into place. Not only does posting them inappropriately allow people to shamelessly promote their own auctions, but it also drives the price up for people who may have found items independently of this board, thus screwing them over. Most respectable online forums that focus on specific hobbies (such as Blu-rays, DVDs, even cars) don't allow the posting of these links, and I really think that Blu-ray.com's forums should take this into strong consideration.
I tried to mention this in another thread, but it was deleted (take your own guess as to who deleted it). Anyway, I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on the matter. Last edited by Kory; 04-29-2010 at 11:11 PM. |
