Just had a WTF moment. I googled "film cell blu" to find other releases that came with film cels (like Interstellar). I clearly searched wrong , and got lots of results for The Cell. Literally five seconds later I check my inbox to see Warner announced The Cell. Freaky!

I really like this movie, and i think it's a bit underrated. Interesting premise, and some great, if not disturbing, visuals.

I got the Canadian one cheap, it's not really anything to write home about, the picture quality is not that much better than DVD, and it's missing all the features from the US DVD. If this one is an improvement I'll probably get it.

I've come close to getting the Canadian version many times. I'm happy to see this getting a US release although I'm not expecting much out of the release (guessing it'll be barebones with middle of the road transfer). I'll pick this up though. Pretty trippy movie and one of the handful of movies I liked Jennifer Lopez in.

The US R rated cut ran 107min, so if the press sheet is to be believed, it will be the extended cut.

I just watched the CN release of The Cell last week. Decent movie but could use a better transfer.

Yeah I was disappointed when I watched the disc. It clearly dates from the time of the Platinum DVD release.

On Warner's press site it says 107 mins. That's not always correct though. I think the commentary was only on the DC, but I'm not completely sure about that
