Is it me or does it seem like movies from Michael Mann do not get the respect they deserve to be released on blu-ray i.e. Thief, The Keep, The Insider and Ali?

Eh, he's doing okay...

Collateral, The Last of the Mohicans, Heat, Public Enemies, Manhunter, Miami Vice - that's a pretty good chunk of his features.

The Keep needs a Blu-ray release! I reckon we'll see one next year, but perhaps I'm being overly optimistic.

He gets as much or more respect than John Sayles, who has zero of his films released. Thief is rumored from Criterion, and The Insider is on its way... The Keep is awful and bever even warranted a DVD release... really all that's left is Ali.

Thief is all I need on Blu. I love Michael Mann, but the main films of his that I like (besides Thief) are all already on Blu-Ray.
