The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) coming from MVD - June 7th, 2022

It looks like MVD snagged one of Twilight Time's previous releases. The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) will be getting a new "Collectors' Edition" release from them on June 7th. It looks to include all of the previous extras from the TT disc, and some additional ones as well.

Nice to see more former Twilight Time titles getting new releases. Has MVD hinted of any others?

There are two HD masters, one created by Fox (used for the MGM DVD surprisingly enough and was recently streaming on Starz) and another done by MGM (used on the TT Blu and by ITV with the UK iTunes stream). I predict it will use MGM's HD master since they own US video rights and has lion tampering at the front.

Fair enough - although they're on virtually every other DVD release of this film that has ever been issued!

No, I don't think so. In fact, MVD often has been sales with very large discounts as much as 80% off.
