Default My 7 Year old son made me proud today...

So I took my son, who is 7, into Wal-mart earlier this evening and was looking at the blu-ray section, I asked him if he wanted Meet the Robinson's and he said he did....anyway he points to the HDDUDs and asks me "You are not going to buy any of those red ones are you?" and I said "NO, why?" and his response was "Good, I don't like those red ones."....LOL I couldn't believe it, I mean he knows blu-ray, because he sees me buying them, but he knows nothing of a format war, let alone able to comprehend it....WOW

Teach 'em while they're young!
We were at target yesterday, and I was parruzing (i know that's spelled incorrectly!) the BD's and my daughter (5) ventured over to the HDDVD's and I told her to stay away from those...only the blu ones!

Ha :-p That is great. I want to give him an honorary blu-blood membership.

My son too. He's knawing at the bone to get Spidey on Blu.

Funny thing also... he was actually upset that we had to get Transformers on DVD and it was not available on Blu-ray.

Not so sure I like kids being so coerced by technology at such a young age. But I did find his reaction interesting to make note of nonetheless.

My son is 2. The last time I took him into BB I told him to throw the HD-DVD discs all over and mess up the display. It was great, because I said, 'sorry, he's 2'.

My son was upset at this as well. He's been a blu-ray convert since he got to go to "Pirates Day" on the Disney backlot a few months back - to celebrate the release of "At World's End" and the blu-ray releases of the first two movies (lucky tyke).

When he saw the TF commercial "on DVD and HD-DVD" he kind of said it all..."ugh."
