Amazon has revealed Alpha House: Season One is coming to Blu-ray. The first season of the Amazon-produced original series stars John Goodman, Mark Consuelos, Clark Johnson and Matt Malloy, with special appearances by Bill Murray, Cynthia Nixon, Amy Sedaris, Wanda Sykes, Julie White and more. Alpha House is set to arrive on Blu-ray via Anderson Merchandisers on August 19th.

Synopsis: The Senate is in session with an eleven-episode season filled with the outrageous (and sometimes all-too-real) follies of Washington politics as four U.S. senators (Goodman, Consuelos, Johnson and Malloy) rent a house together in Washington DC. Alpha House, the first original series from Amazon Prime Instant Video, was written by Academy Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize winner Garry Trudeau and produced by Trudeau, Elliot Webb and Jonathan Alter.

Neither Amazon nor Anderson have detailed tech specs or special features.
