Default Firmware for the BD-P1000

I am a newbie to the site. I have 4 Samsung 1000's and have never updated them yet with any firmware. I am trying to do it and am having the most difficult time doing this? I am not that much of an idiot but I have tried 4 times, I have burned the iso to the disc, and when I put the disk in I have received 3 different outcomes.
1. It won't even play the disc and automatically ejects
2. I got the menu for the BLURay player?
3. it just keeps loading and nothing happens

I have no idea what to do? I have tried on both a CD-R and a CD-RW.

Need help!!!!, is there anywhere to get a disc with the most recent updates for the BD-P1000?

Thanks and don't kill me

Did you burn the disc as an image or data?

Make sure that you have a burning software that has a "burn as image" option. I believe Nero is the preferred software, but I've been using Sonic which in my opinion is just as good.

I did get it to work. I do have one problem now. I ran the update on three of my four players. They are all BD-P1000's. It worked fine as the directions say on the first one. On the second one, it ran and at the end it kicked the CD out. But then instead of the dvd being set to HDMI it is now running on Component 1 which is what my cable tv is on. So needless to say, It wont even show me the Samsung Blu-Ray screen. I can power on the DVD, put a dvd in and it plays audio but no image on teh screen. The message on the screen says, "no signal or weak signal". When I try to change it to HDMI, it says "no devices attached" ?
So I never got the screen at the final step to turn on the dvd and select language.

So then I tried it on the third player and it worked fine as it did on the first player.
Please help.

thanks in advance

Only thing I can think of is to revert back to an older firmware to see if that fixs it and then try reloading the new firmware again. I have succesfully gone back and forth between firmwares previously.
