Default Blu-ray association and SONY we love you!

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/news

'The Transformers' propelled the format to its strongest weekly showing against its next-gen rival in over nine months; on the Blu-ray side, even up against the third biggest box office grosser of the year, the Sony-backed format still managed to eke out a victory.

And theres many more where that came from!

and A big Thank you to DISNEY and the rest of the BDA!
THANKS for fighting back!

Hey hey don't forget about Disney. They deserve as much of the praise as Sony gets. I'm so glad they did something like this. Could not have worked out better.

Thank you Disney and Sony!!

I give a super majority of credit to Disney. Their sale was everywhere, and they didn't hold back. They put their best titles up and let it fly. Fly it did.

Disney continues to impress. Excellent promotions. Excellent encodes. Excellent packaging.

THANK YOU DISNEY!!

Major credit goes out to Disney. It's not even their format per say but they had the balls to go all out for chance at victory and it worked out.

And that was just on "Meet the Robinsons", the one that "nobody saw"--

Consider that Ratatouille and Pirates haven't even been sold yet...

Some yahoos on highdefdigest.com are complaining that the Blu-ray victory was cheap because we had a BOGO deal. I guess they already forgot why Transformers is an exclusive HD DVD release in the first place. Honestly, if that isnt the pot calling the kettle black, I dont know what is.

Well, someone smart said that while HD-DVD paid money to take movies out of Blu-ray fans' hands, BDA paid money to get movies into Blu-ray fans' hands.

Now who's the bad guy again?

enjoy

DISNEY has done the unexpected in BD ,maximizing the infinity of encoding BD in PQ and SQ.

My favourites BD so far Apocalypto and POTC they are just amazing and Extraordinary in BD experience. If there are still someone around the world have Blu-Ray player doesnt experience these titles ,GO AHEAD and bought THEM.

SONY I LOVE YOU FROM MY BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

I would like to add a great thankful and my best wishes for FOX.

FOX ARE DOING THE BEST NOW and i'm following them ,I LOVE FOX and especially does anyone pay attention to their latest encoding like Fantastic four II when the java finished loading and The logo of Twentieth Century Fox under it BLU-RAY disc.

I LOVE THIS LOGO in Beyond High Definition.

I'm just Waiting now for Spiderman Movies and Die hard 4.0,CARS,POTC3 ect..

FOX indeed does help BD to increase their sales too but when PS3 enable DTSHDMA decoding this will be another story

By the way, that wasn't a smart-ass remark or anything. In my opinion, this strikes at the core value of each group -- BDA is trying to spread Blu-ray and have it adopted as the next generation HDM format, while HD-DVD is trying to stall HDM adoption for their own reasons (Toshiba to protect their DVD loyalties, M$ to push their download agenda).

This is so transparent. Why people support HD-DVD as their "format of choice" is beyond me.

enjoy
