Why can't Hollywood discover the masters of science fiction? Niven, Asimov, Heinlein, Bradbury....the list goes on and on.

When they do make one of their stories (i.e. I Robot) why is there a complete rewrite of what was already perfection? Why ruin it?

Why remake a story which will never live up to the original and always be compared to something already done? I'm sure some day they will be made. The stories are far too compelling to pass up. I am just sorry I won't be around to watch them.

Heinlein's "The Man Who Sold the Moon" - ahh there's a start...
Niven's "Inconstant Moon"...I think that one made it to TV at least but sadly we are treated to more regurgitation...

That reminds me... I'm pretty excited for the cheeseball Omega Man!

I am legend looks good though, although I have a feeling if they don't clarify what the movie is actually about in an upcoming trailer a lot of people will be disappointed with the movie.

I see you like some of the sci-fi masters. How do you like Harlan Ellison?

I am surprised that Hollyweird hasn't ALREADY made movies out of the "Little Fuzzy" trilogy by H. Beam Piper.
