I was browsing monstercable.com for a support issue and noticed the following page:

Does anyone have any details on this? I just bought a HTS1000 MKIII and it did not come with any info on this promotion whatsoever.

Nice, but I still can't justify spending $800 on a 2 foot cable.

Is this accurate? It shows that Blu-ray and HD-DVD require 4.95 to 6.68 Gbps1080p. These numbers seem pretty high, and I thought the two formats aren't equal.

This is the first I'm hearing about the promotion too, but I'd be interested to find out as my roommate just bought a monster HDMI cable.

I posted a thread about this several weeks ago, Bought two Monster HDMI cables. Eas included a mail-in coupon for a Disney BD. Also came with store discount coupons for a few titles - you have to buy 2 discs from a (poor) selection of titles.
