Nothing official yet, and most of it (if not all) was filmed 4:3, but if there is enough demand, I assume they'd do it eventually. Took them long enough to get it to DVD, so I wouldnt count on it anytime soon.

Many TV shows are shot on film including Seinfeld. It's just that the masters before 2000s are mostly 480i.

Seinfeld was remastered for the DVD release.

Wow. Seinfeld in widescreen. That would be nice. I was kind of burned out on the show watching in re-reruns everywhere every day, but HD would be interesting.

I saw that episode of Comedians In Cars... when it was first released. Really good episode.

As for the show, I bought the original DVDs when they first came out years ago, so if it was ever released on Blu-ray, I think enough time will have passed that I wouldn't mind re-buying it. I wouldn't do that with a lot of TV shows, but Seinfeld is my #1 favorite show of all time, so it would be an exception.

Probably an unresolved issue of whether to release them as the 16:9 cropped HDTV format or in the original full frame. Either way, they gonna disappoint people.
