So far it looks to be a pretty good show, just hope I don't get attached to it and it gets canceled. Guess it took Happy Endings' spot, wonder how ABC will work that out next year.

Happy endings had its season finale last week. So i'm guessing they can switch stuff up. It was a all right pilot, i gotta see more to keep tuning in.

The commercials looked pretty good. Might try and watch it sometime. Has the first episode aired yet?

Tonight was the first episode. I haven't watched it yet but I really hope it's good, I loved Krysten Ritter in Breaking Bad and She's Out of My League.

I thought it was decent. I'll give it a few more episodes to decide if I will continue. If I do end up enjoying it I just hope ABC doesn't decide to cancel it.

Dammit. I'll check Hulu tomorrow. Hopefully it's up.

This show is pretty good. The first two episodes are on ABC.com and Hulu Plus. I think the one of the better aspects of this show, besides Krysten Ritter obviously, is James Van Der Beek playing a snarky version of himself.

I liked it, it was less awkward than I thought it would be.

I have a feeling it's gonna be like Suburgatory or New Girl and take a couple episodes to get good.

The first two episodes were made available legally in multiple formats. You can currently download them both on iTunes right now as one of the options.

The season only has seven episodes total, six more to air. So, we'll see...

Also, from what I heard, many people said they didn't like the pilot, but were extremely impressed with episode 2. I haven't seen the 2nd one yet, so i can't say.

Initially I don't really like it, but I'll be giving it a couple more episodes before making a decision on it...

Didn't laugh once in Episode 1, thought everyone in the cast (sans the established actor, Van Der Beek) looked unphotogenic, and am not sure how anyone would be inspired to willingly follow a show where the main character is so despicable (versus a supporting character, like the delightful Dan Fielding from NIGHT COURT). If this well-touted second episode fizzles for me, too, I'm out.

I think it has potential, but I will be extremely upset if ABC doesn't renew Happy Endings because of this!

I liked the pilot, it wasn't extremely funny but I think it has potential and the actor looks well casted, so I'll stay the whole season.

I agree. The "commercial" at the end had me laughing. All in all it wasn't a bad pilot. I'll watch a few more eps at least and see how it goes.

I really enjoyed this show. Van der Beek made it enjoyable for me.
I think this is the best thing he's ever done and he looks like he enjoys playing the role.

This show is hilarious. I love it. Am glad it was renewed. It's not as great as Happy Endings (what sitcom is really?), but it's more enjoyable than I ever expected it would be. It's much better than the ads they aired before the series debuted would suggest. This and Happy Endings will go great together next season.

I'm just worried this show and Happy Endings are going to get clobbered in their new time slot next season. They are going up against New Girl and The Mindy Project (Mindy Kaling from The Office) on Fox and Go On (Matthew Perry's new show that is going to get a huge advertising push during the Olympics) and The New Normal on NBC. That is a lot of sitcoms in a one hour time period and there's no way they are all going to succeed.

Don't ask me why, but I feel the exact opposite for some reason FD While this might be the case initially, I see the others slipping in ratings. As much as I'd like to watch either of those shows on both networks I'm sticking with Happy Ending and DTTB. Hopefully those that do will keep the ratings good for both shows.
