Angry Beware , Don't buy GUPT & Vidhaata Blu ray.

Just got my Gupt and vidhaata discs , complete ripoff ..

Audio is some mono shit , both Audio and video poorer than VCD .

Complete waste of money , can i ask for refund ..?

WTF! These are easily the worst screenshots i've ever seen for a Blu-Ray disk! its not that i would have bought these movies even if they were of great quality , but this reconfirms What Sanjay said , and we should indeed stay miles away from Eagle Home Video!

Eagle must have used some cutting edge technology to burn a VCD to Blu Ray

@Jadoogar: Totally sorry for you, dude, that's the worst deal anyone ever got. I'm doubting you'd get a refund but you should definitely try it. And if you're on Facebook and Twitter make a stink about it. Some of these companies pay attention to rants on social networks (though not on specialist forums like this) and you might get refunded. Also, thanks on behalf of many of us here for having made the sacrifice that saved us.

Edit: This is Eagle's FB page, please everyone who wants to, post your comments of their trashy work here to make them take notice:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Eagle...802556?fref=ts

Gar, looks like I spoke to soon, you can't post anything on their page. It figures that they don't want any criticism of their products or feedback from their customers.

Was going to pick Gupt BD, but the transfer totally ruined my decision.

Even my Eros DVD of Gupt is better than this- far better

Hope Eagle learns from this, as Eros, Sony & Reliance Home Video did from their past mistakes

Looks like I won't be replacing my Gupt and Vidhaata DVDs. This is worse than I could have ever expected.

Here I meant that Eros, Sony, Reliance and other renowned Bluray manufacturing companies around the world started with disastrous / bad transfers but have now made their own mark
Eg:-
Sony- XXX -I (Early Release)
Reliance- Dabangg, Once Upon- Then they came with Singham, Bodyguard..-Far better
Even Universal
So, Eagle should also learn from its mistake and provide consumers with valuable products in future

Great idea Ravenus

You can contact them via this page:

be sure to add how stinky their work really is. Everyone should participate as they have a catalog of many good titles!!

It's so bad that its unbelievable that this would even classify as a Blu ra. Lol even the Chinese version of devdad was better than this. I'm shocked

^Thanks for the address. Sent them this message (P.S. had to e-mail them because the online message submission has a broken captcha system that keeps insisting that you entered an incorrect code...or wait, maybe this is intentional )

Your new blu-ray releases of Gupt and Vidhaata seem totally terrible in video quality if the screenshots on this forum are anything to go by:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=219531

This looks like a VHS/VCD quality master has been slapped on to a blu-ray disc. If this is true then shame on you for putting out such a worthless product and actually expecting people to pay good money for it. People who find such quality on their purchases have every right to claim a refund because by no means does this qualify as a high-definition release.

Guys, as I said in another thread... don't buy these shitty Bluray movies and better subscribe for Zee Cinema HD channel and watch some good old movies in HD format which is much better than Bluray like Gupt.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...8&postcount=34

Those who are not aware, Zee Cinema HD is really doing a great job in making HD transfer of old Hindi movies.

All the movies are in 1080i HD with decent AAC Stereo Sound. And I must say picture quality is quite good with a much high bit rate in comparison to other channels like Star Gold HD, Movies Now HD and Zee Studio HD. The only shortcoming is ...they don't provide 5.1 sound. All the old Hindi movies on Star Gold HD are in crappy upscaled version with damaged aspect ratio.

But I must appreciate Zee Cinema HD which never show movies in upscaled version, instead they have made decent HD transfer of all the old movie they are showing.

- Deewar, Coolie, Don (Amitabh movie), Seeta Aur Geeta :- All these movies are cropped from original 1.33:1 ratio to 16:9 ratio, yet I never felt much about image being cropped throughout the movie.

- Prem Rog, Sardari Begum :- These movies are shown in original 1.33:1 ratio with vertical black bar on both the side.

- Gupt, Khiladi, Krantiveer, Vishwatma, Tridev, Shaan, Sharaabi, Shahenshah, Muqqaddar Ka Sikander, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Mohra, Maine Pyar Kiya:-
All these movies are shown in original 2.35:1 aspect ratio.

Fair Disclosure: I am not promoting Zee Cinema HD channel, it's just I really appreciate the quality standards of this channel.
At a time, when other HD channels are fooling customers by providing most of the content in 720p or by upscaling, Zee Cinema HD is always telecasting movies in real 1080i HD.

I do think their system is intentional at blocking out comments from customers, i also didnt get one through, so had to email as well.

I am totally appalled at the recent blu ray releases of Gupt and Vidhaata. They hold no attempt at mastering these movies into HD. These look worse than VHS rips. The screen shots based on this website:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=219531
says a lot about what quality controls are in check. If this is what we, as customers will receive, we will not support Eagle at its abysmal attempt to release such distasteful products.

I live in the UK and we only have the SD version of Zee Cinema and that too in 4:3 broadcast so all newer movies are basically in a box with pillar and letter boxes. The only HD channel we have in the UK for an Asian channel is Star Plus HD and recently checked Chalte Chalte on their and did find that it was an upscaled print, they will be showing Hera Pheri tomorrow but I suspect it will also be upscaled.

I dont really like Zee Cinema to be honest in regards to new movies here espeically in the UK they cut the films a lot. However I love them for old movies as they do have good prints. But the 16:9 crop you mentioned of movies like Coolie and Deewar that you mentioned is turn off for me.
