Good News
Universal Exclusive HD-DVD

Warner Brothers and Paramount supports both formats

Disney (other Disney Studios), Fox, MGM, Columbia Tristar Sony Pictures(mainly Columbia) are exclusive Blu Ray that means they are not planning to release any titles on HD-DVD.

I don't know where you have been getting your information from (I have a good guess) Hang around here and you will learn plenty, even HD-DVD - this site is NOT biased one way or the other (various members maybe) but everyone is kept honest.
