I think I read somewhere in a 2012 list that Mill Creek has the rights for that one currently. Although, Sony has the 4k streaming version which I would love to see.

They may only have DVD rights for that one. A lot of the titles have only been released to DVD and Mill Creek has no plans to release them to Blu-ray.

It's possible one of the other labels have it but given this is a Sony title the most likely candidate would be Twilight Time; assuming it's not still with Sony. Kino doesn't currently have a deal with Sony. Criterion is another possibility.

EDIT: Also, note that the press release mentioned Bonjour Tristesse and Twilight Time released that one on Blu-ray.

Reckon this will ever get another release? I just can't justify forking out $40 US (Like $55 Australian) for this even if it is a limited edition.

So this site's review isn't exactly a rave for the PQ. Anyone have this that can vouch for it one way or the other. Might get it in the TT sale going on right now, but the fact that it's pretty much featureless and the PQ didn't get a good review make me think maybe I should just pass and wait for it to come out through someone like Kino with a new master.

While it's true that the PQ is...not great, the movie is pretty damn good. I went for it on sale and don't regret it. I'd buy it again if it gets a new polish, but that's a pretty big "if".

Yeah it's definitely an if, but there have been a few recent MGM titles that are re-releases that have gotten new transfers that have gone out through Kino. Never seen the film before and I guess I'd rather watch it with a better transfer if one of the big highlights of the film is the cinematography. I know average to poor transfers do no favors to these blown out looking mid-late 70's films.
