Post Righteous Kill (De Niro/Pacino) on Blu-ray January 6

All right here:

http://www.dvdactive.com/news/releas...eous-kill.html

Can't wait for this one! Keeps you guessing throughout the film! Robert De Niro and Al Pacino once again shows us why they are the best of the best! The Blu-ray will have all the usual stuff: behind-the-scenes footage, commentary, and featurettes as well as a Digital Copy for the film and BD-Live Features.

Now, if only Warner can hurry the hell up and announce Heat on Blu-ray!!

Day 1 purchase.
It was pretty cool. I see why people didn't like it, but I enjoyed it.

Because from the beginning I knew who the killer was. Im sick of movies that try and trick you by leading you to think 1 thing, then throwing you the other way. Its become extremely obvious

The movie was mediocre

And the plot "twist" was obvious throughout the whole thing

I didn't think it was awful it just didn't offer anything new or exciting. It got panned more than it deserved but it's still entertaining to watch it unfold even if the ending is blatantly obvious

I guess I was the only one who didn't see the ending coming. I saw this right after Eagle Eye and found it MUCH MUCH more entertaining.

Definitely picking it up.

It sure was, I don't know why the original poster thought it kept you guessing through the whole film, when based on previews you knew who it was lol. Only one of the two actors actually puts any range into his villains anymore, but this movie was flat out horrible. And I'm still trying to figure out the point of Carla Gugino's character in this. Does the study think it's ever sexy to watch De Niro's ugly mug behind a gorgeous woman making panting noises? I love De Niro's work but I always feel his sex scenes are just gross haha, am I alone here??

It's hard to believe this movie sucked...I mean DeNiro and Pacino....I didn't get a chance to see it so maybe I'll give it a rental.

This is one BIG reason I read the posts on new blu-rays coming out. I never see the movies in the theaters. If I see overwhelming postive posts on a blu I'm interested in, I'll more than likely blind buy the blu. For example, I pre-ordered WANTED because I saw enough postive posts on this website. If I see overwhelming negative posts on a blu I'm really interested in, I'll more than likely rent it for a dollar at Redbox.com.

Now I"m going to just rent Righteous. Too bad. I really like Pacino and DeNiro.

I watched this the other night on dvd and I thought it was a great movie, much like 88 minutes. But we each have our own opinions and likes and dislikes

Well I am a huge fan of both Pacino and De Niro, which is why I thought there was no way they could ruin this.............until I saw it. Jon Avnet the terrible "Director" who put out the even more awful "88 Minutes" with Pacino and took something like 3 years to put it out, is responsible for this crapfest to. How is it possible for one person to put Pacino in back to back movies, and still make them both garbage?? HE'S AL PACINO FOR CHRIST SAKES!!! My belief is that Avnet could f*ck up a wet dream now, to think this is the same guy who a little over 15 years ago put out Fried Green Tomatoes AND the War. Fast track to Uwe Boll shamedom!
