Film Masters will be releasing a double-feature of Euro horror films starting Klaus Kinski: Creature with the Blue Hand (1967), and Web of the Spider (1971). The release is packed with extras including multiple commentary tracks, another bonus film, a documentary, and more.

For those craving a taste of "Euro-Kinski," two of Klaus Kinski's European features are now available in one creepy package. Presented for the first time in Blu-ray, Creature with the Blue Hand (1967) is a mystery-thriller about a series of grisly murders. It's one of several German films based on the novels of Edgar Wallace, many adaptations of which starred Kinski. This time he plays an escaped mental patient who might be the killer. Meanwhile, Web of the Spider (1971) is a classic haunted house tale from Italian maestro, Antonio Margheriti, with Kinski as none other than Edgar Allan Poe! It's a diabolical double dose from one of cinema's most controversial and unique figures!

Full specs are up for this at FIlm Master's site. The commentary tracks for both movies will be done by Kim Newman, and Stephen Jones. There will be two Ballyhoo Motion Picture documentaries on the disc, one for Edgar Wallace, and another on Rialto's Kinski Krimis. Additionally, The Bloody Hand, the alternate version of Creature with the Blue Hand will be from a new 4K restoration.

This is what their site says for the transfer of that:

North American Release Print Scanned in 4K from original 35mm archival elements

I believe that was also the case for the Garagehouse Pictures release, so possibly the same source.

Hmm, I missed that this was coming out, as I've heard of Creature with the Blue Hand for awhile now. However, it doesn't have the original German audio and read that the English dub is pretty bad. Oh well.
