So is this just another repackage of the current double feature or is it actually going to include the extended cuts. I hope both versions are included, otherwise ill pass.

If it's just a repackage it's crazy overpriced (you can still get the original release for $10). I suspect it may be a bit more than that with the extended versions possibly included...and howsa 'bout giving buyers lossless audio this time?

Even with all of the above, I think this will end up being a pass for me.

Maybe it's for the "settle with Rose McGowan" fund. I was reading something about Harvey had basically blacklisted her, but Rodriguez cast her after hearing about that. Guess RR had full control of casting. Would make sense in how poorly the film has been handled from theater release to home. Not sure what would make me double-dip though. Lossless audio would be nice, but with my hearing wouldn't make much difference to me personally. Already have the extended cuts (only dvd for DP though)...
I'm guessing new cover, same old discs.

At first I didn’t care for Death Proof but it grew on me over the years, it’s a bit too dialogue heavy in the beginning & that car chase in the end is one of the best. No need to purchase this though as I already own it.

I only have the extended cuts on DVD, I won't be picking this up unless it has theatrical and extended. This was theatrically released on my birthday and after a night of too much drinking with friends, I got up bright and early at 11 AM, drove to my friends house and made him get out of bed and drove us to the 12PM showing. We were the only people in the theater, I loved it and had so much fun, my friend unfortunately didn't enjoy it as much since he was nursing a hang over. It's one of the only films that was released on my birthday that I made an effort to go see.

YES! I'd much rather have this over Grindhouse. This new Grindhouse set better have some good stuff given the price of this on Amazon.

They could really pack this with a lot of content. The original release is pretty loaded, but I believe there are additional special features on the "Planet Terror" disc (not sure about "Death Proof", besides the extra cut), plus there were Best Buy bonus discs for both DVD releases which could be included. It would be nice to have it all under one roof, like the recent "King Kong" ultimate edition that combined all of the previous bonus features from five or six DVDs onto one Blu.

First time I watched this, the part where he pours the alcohol on his arm, I had to pause the movie and just laugh for about 5 minutes lol.

I just watched Death Proof recently. That threw me out of the film and essential undid everything that came before it.
I saw Grindhouse opening night and was a real treat. It was an movie experience that I was not old enough to experience since I wasn't born during that era but unfortunately, it doesn't hold up very well, except for Planet Terror. That one still manages to be a fun watch.

I love zombie movies and have seen my fair share. That being said, "Planet Terror" rounds out my top 5. Until I saw Grindhouse, it was "Return of the Living Dead", but Planet Terror is so much fun that I had to demote it.
