Default What studio do you think is doing the best.

Out of all the studios supporting blu, who are you most impressed with, I have to say out of all my movies FOX on average constantly are great so i would have to say them.

Just got done with From Hell, the video was good but the sound was amazing.

As far as quality of releases I still give the thumbs up to Disney.

Sony and WB get a thumbs up for releasing greater quantity of films I like however I wish WB was a little more consistent in the quality of their releases.

Fox is catching up though.

I have to agree about Disney. Especially when you include their widespread (traveling Blu display) support. Kudos to you Disney!

For me it's Sony by far.

Every single release in the last 6+ months (since around the time they made their first AVC title) has been outstanding. All top tier (as far as their masters go) and they all have uncompressed audio.

The only other studio as consistent in sound and video is Disney and Fox has been very good since they started releasing again.

Fox and their latest batch of titles have been absolutely outstanding! What a treat! Overall however I do believe that Disney has been the undisputed leader followed closely by SONY.

This being said FOX are my absolute favorites. A great, great company!!

I've bought quite a few new after-the-break Fox releases and must say that I am VERY impressed with them. Sony and Disney are consistently making amazing discs too.

As far as quantities of awesome movies coming out though, no one is beating Warner on either format.

Fox's recent releases have been very impressive.

Apart from that, Sony has been consistently outstanding, aside from early missteps.

FOX might be good but they're charging one hell of a premium for their titles and not to mention BD+ crap.

I fully agree. However, I think that the other studios need to force the hand of hardware manufacturers like Fox is doing. I despise Warner.

Disney by far.

WB needs to go Blu exclusive then we will see. WB has to many hddud encodes burned to Blu-ray discs to say they are doing a great job.

+ FOX releases are now considered reference quality....FFSS and Day after tomorrow.

BD exclusive studios are releasing better quality discs then WB.

Sony, Disney, Fox, Warner, Lionsgate in that order. Pretty wide gap between 2nd and 3rd positions, although Fox will close the gap quickly if they keep releasing consistently.

I gave a slight edge to Sony because of their willingness to bring non-mainstream films to Blu-ray (Black Book, The Lives of Others, Volver, assorted Chinese epics, etc.) although I'm pretty sure they expect to lose money on most of them. Of course, their repeated sales (I wish it's not always the same movies ) to try to pump up interest don't hurt either.

enjoy

That is pretty much how I see it too.

Disney may not be #1 as far as titles that I want to see, but they consistently put out quality work. And their blood definitely runs blue.
