Default Spider man trilogy box set in 4K?

Does anyone know if the first Spider-Man trilogy come in a 4K mastered box set? I see the individual 1-3 in 4K but not in a box set. Am I missing it somewhere?

Don't believe it ever did, but FYI:

Spiderman 1 mastered in 4k clearly better than the previous Blu-ray
Spiderman 2 mastered in 4k color timing IMO worse than the previous Blu-ray
Spiderman 3 no significant difference

So really, IMO the Spiderman 1 is the only one I'd seek out in 4k mastered.

Okay, thank you so much for the information Ruined. Hence the fact that Spider-Man 2 4k is on sale for $10.99 now on Amazon.

Plus Spider-Man 2 MI4K you don't get version 2.1 I don't think. I could be wrong though. I like 2.1 better than the theatrical cut!

I can confirm that, and I didn't realize that until after I sold my original 2K version. Now I'm bummed because the digital copy only has 2.1 in SD (not sure why) so I don't have a good copy of 2.1 anymore.

Just re-buy the 2K Spider-Man 2 blu with version 2.1 on it. There bro, problem solved. The 2K disc has a fantastic transfer IMO.

They all do really. I have the basic set and all of them are great transfers. I'll get the 4k version of the original at some point, but they all look great either way (and I really like 2.1 for the sequel as well).

True, even the first film's original transfer isn't terrible. Its the only one that I have a mastered in 4K disc for. There is a noticeable difference between the 2 as far as color and detail goes though, the winner being the MI4K disc.

When you say 2.1...are you talking about stereo?

I think the 2.1 is in reference to it being a alternate/extended cut of the film.

I've got the 2012 Editions of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 and the 2007 2-Disc Edition of Spider-Man 3. I am extremely happy with them and I think that that the transfers on those editions are already excellent.

I agree. The only one I double dipped on was the first one. I did buy the MI4K version and there is a considerable difference. Doesn't mean the original 2K transfer is bad though, it's most definitely not. Spider-Man 2 and 3 look fantastic! I can't imagine the MI4K discs looking that much better.

The Mi4K versions of the first two films look terrific to me, there's a noticeable increase in high frequency detail. Never much cared for 2.1 so I'm happy with the theatrical cut.

Does anyone knows if the 4K versions are still shipping with the Slips from Amazon?

Both Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 were reference quality for Blu-Ray when they were first released on the format back in October of 2007.

When I first watched Spider-Man 2 on Blu-Ray, I was blown away by how incredible the presentation was. Honestly, the Blu-Ray of Spider-Man 2 almost annihilates the old SuperBit DVD which was reference quality.

What about The Amazing Spider-Man 1st movie in comparison to the 4k version? Can anyone comment on advantages or disadvantages?
