Default So...nobody's played the Bladestorm demo?

Wasn't too bad (although the conversational "inn" shots are embarrassingly retro)--

But after the hopeless twelve-button confusion of "Timeshift", it was fun to have a fun real-time-military piece that didn't involve much more than hacking your way through....The Wars of the Roses setting gave it a nice concept, too, though there's not much history to follow.
Just for the Shakespeare heck of it, btw, anyone else like to create a female character, name her Joan, and have her fight all the English battles?

Bladestorm was alright but I dont think its worth 60 bucks. I dont expect it to score too well in reviews. 7 at the most.

I Downloaded it and really enjoyed playing it. It reminded me of Dynasty Warriors, but I liked the fact that you can't just charge in by yourself or you get wasted; you have to have a Division to survive.

I actually have played through it 3 times ( the demo) and the last two, since the first level has no time limit, I just took over the entire map before taking my objective haha.

I'll be getting it after work today.

Downloaded it, tried it...not enough in depth control of a specific character, so my interest quickly disappeared and I deleted it soon after.

The system is overly complex. You really have to micromanage things, and not being able to control 70% of the allied units on the map is beyond retarded during a demo.

I enjoyed the demo; it's different from the Norm. I look forward to picking this game up, although I wait and see if I receive it has a gift for my B-Day or Christmas.

I thought it was really fun, but I think it might become very repetitive. It's definitely a Love/Hate kind of game. I'll have to see some reviews to see what kind of depth the game has.. but it seems like you're just going to fight in bigger and bigger battles and unlock different weapons to use.

This guy is from Europe, and he's 25+ hours into the game. The thread is about 60 posts long, but he's on there all of the time answering ANY questions.

Very informative, and his perspective of the full game REALLY got me wanting it more than anything else.

I found the demo to be pretty meh, but with tons of potential, and according to this guy, that potential is harnessed in the full version.

I am also really looking forward to seeing Mass Effect. I don't own an XBox360, but I'm tempted to buy one if it turns out to be as great as it looks.

I also deleted the bladestorm demo shortly after installing it... I thought it was boring.
