actually according to daniel radcliff (whatever his name is) they were interviewing him on Jay Leno and he said that the Marketing people told J.K rowlings people in the US as a whole would'nt be interested in a book with Philosospher in the title so they changed it.

Sounds like crap. I really don't like when people automatically assume WE as a whole don't like something. I personally don't care. I want it whatever way it was suppose to be.

Now this irritates me because UK will have Philosopher and the US will have Sorcerer. I don't like things that are not the way there suppose to be.

As a philosopher I hope never to be mistook for a sorcerer. The subject of philosophy has its brand image issues perhaps, but black magic is not one of them.

That's what I am saying. I don't get how sorcerer is better than philosopher.

So wicked and dark is better to understand than good and light?
