Help finding high def Blu-ray trailers - Blu-ray Forum

Hi,

I have several HD Blu Ray Trailers on my PS3 but if I could I would like to try to get the trailers for most or all of the Blu Rays that I have so that I could show "comming attractions" of stuff that's in the library.

Some I used to have but I lost like TMNT and Casino Royale. If anyone can point me to a site or instructions for chasing some of these down I would be gratefull.

Apple's site and Yahoo's HD movie trailer site don't seem to let me dl the stuff. I'm kind of all thumbs with computers lately since the PS3 has taken over my "fun" time.

If you have QuickTime Pro you can download the trailers from the Apple Quicktime Trailers page...that's about all I can think of at the moment

I'll search around as well and let you know if I find anything.

Actually,.. not much interesting there at the moment.

I don't have quicktime pro but I have something free called Isquint that's supposed to do it. I guess converting quicktimes will be my method for now,.. I'll see how it goes. (Too bad I didn't back up trailers I downloaded previously from my PS3

)

Did you get those trailers originally from the PSN Store?

I got several from the PSStore that I no longer have. Seems I went through a "gonna not have tralers on my PS3 Hard Drive" phase and I'm over that but I didn't back the stuff up for some unknown reason.

Anyway,.. if that happens again I'll throw the stuff on a DVD-R in case I change my mind.

Have you checked through the movie trailers folder on the PSN store? I know there are at least some of the older trailers in there.

I haven't been able to check today since I'm at work.

Try this. It's a German site, but they have the US versions of most trailers too. Let's you download everything up to and including 1920x1080.

Hey,

So far so good. I found some trailers I wanted in MP4 and also converted one from quicktime to mp4 via Isquint. The converted one is a bit soft so I'm going to look into trying to change some settings.

But,.. I'm thrilled at the progress thus far. Thanks for all the input.
