Default help with HD audio playback.
Alright guys/gals i have an onyko sr-805s with a samsung 1400 hooked up through hdmi. The 1400 is set to bitstream. However, when i played 3:10 to yuma last night with the 7.1 uncompressed running the dialog was very soft i had to turn the sound up to around -12 or so but if i put it on the DD 5.1 i could keep it around -22 and it was very loud. Is there something i need to set on the reciever or player to get it working right or is it working fine?

fyi i have 5.1 set up on hte reciever and the speakers are pretty old(5+yrs).


Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance
