Taking my family to Disney!!

We’ve decided the kids are old enough where they s/b able to appreciate a trip to Disney in FL.

Right now we’re planning to go in January when I have my winter break from classes, that way I won't have to work on any homework or have to worry about submitting assignments while we're down there.

My daughter will be almost 8 and my son will be almost 6 by that time so we shouldn’t have to worry about taking a stroller or anything like that either.

@ this point, I’ve taken some money out of our tax return this year, will take some out next year as well. Then I’ll be taking some money out of my side business; I have a taxidermy business on the side and deer season went really well this year!! So I’ll take some money out of there and then again after next deer season.

The best part is I’ve been banking my reward points on my credit card for a couple years now and will have close to $1,500 saved up by the time we go!!

So basically, based on what family and friends have told me what it costs for a family of 4 to go for a week…..I’ve pretty much got it all paid for already!!

To top it all off, I got an application in the mail the other day for a Disney Visa card and if we put $500 on it in the next 3 months, they’ll give us a $200 gift card…..can you say souvenirs?? The $500 won’t be a problem…..instead of paying for groceries w/a check, we’ll just put it on the credit card and then pay it off right away.

So for this…….to bad it’s close to 9 months away yet!! A week in FL when it’s cold as b@lls here in WI….um yeah!!
